Drizoro obtains the DAP certification to continue being a leader in sustainability.



Drizoro S.A.U. is a Spanish manufacturer with more than forty-five years of experience in the construction chemical industry sector, has recently obtained the Environmental Product Declaration (DAP) for different product range in its catalogue, which is a method for quantifying the environmental impact aspects of the manufacturing processes in the products.

The Product lines where DRIZORO has obtained the DAP are registered in 10 families in ENVIRONDEC, whick are the following:

  • • Waterproofing systems, such as cement-based mortars, acrylic, epoxy, and polyurethane-based resins
  • • Structural repair mortars, reinforcement passivation products and steel protection.
  • • Structural strengthening systems with carbon fiber composite.
  • • Flooring systems with epoxy, polyurethane and polyurethane-cement based resins.
  • • Roofing systems with acrylic, polyurethane and polyurea based liquid membranes.


Therefore the DAP is based on the Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), ISO 14040 and 14044, of the product developing specific calculation rules (RCP, EN 15804). It is a tool designed to quantify sustainability, so it is necessary to have data on the raw materials that make up the product, the behaviour of the product in its service life, and the recycling or recovery process to which it may be subjected when, already obsolete, is considered an end-of-life product or waste

The DAP analyses various parameters such as: energy consumption, resource depletion, water consumption, solid waste, climate change, atmospheric acidification, air and water pollution, the destruction of the ozone layer or the formation of photochemical ozone.



The DAP is aimed at those companies or business groups that require knowledge and evaluation of the sustainability of their products, and want to detect points susceptible to environmental improvement, creating a more sustainable production system.

CRFI 2018

 (Corrosion Forum Israel – NACE Israel)



DRIZORO SAU, as a company specialized in the repair and protection of concrete structures, has participated in the CRFI 2018 (Corrosion Forum Israel - NACE Israel) during the 13th Annual Conference of the Israel Corrosion Working Group in Kafar HanMaccbiah (Ramat Gan). The paper, framed within the working group "Corrosion in Infrastructures", proposes a methodology for repair and protection of bridges as well as other concrete structures subjected to aggressive environments (marine), meeting the criteria given by the EN 1504- 9 European Standard.

Thus, after exposing the principles and methods involved in this type of jobs, the proposed methodology is based on:

a) treatment of reinforcement bars with the MAXREST PASSIVE one-component, water-based oxide converter/anti-corrosive and protective formula,
b) repair of concrete with the MAXRITE 700 high-performance, polymer modified, fiber-reinforced, cement-based structural repair mortar with corrosion inhibitors,
c) preventive treatment against reinforcement corrosion by applying the MAXRITE INHIBIDOR liquid corrosion-inhibiting formula with migration performance, and finally,
d) application of the MAXSEAL FLEX two component, flexible, cement based waterproofing and protective for concrete structures against water and harmful chemical ingress.
